Utilizing LPG as an Additive to Enhance the Properties of Iraqi Diesel Oil

For environmental and economic purposes, it is necessary to search for methods that reduce gas emission by flare from the oil refineries. It causes pollution warmup. All laboratory tests have been completed at Koya University, with contribution of Institute Technology in Koya, check some readings verify their accuracy. Increasing absorptivity gases heavy will expected improve burning characteristics. This research aims determine best operating conditions leads higher absorption. In this diesel considered as a cut LPG light gas. A lab scale unit was installed purpose. The amount changes weight before after atomizing determines well as, properties like flash point, cetane number, index. effect wide range time (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 90) minutes different temperatures (0, 10, 50) °C considered. data discussed graphically analyzed. optimum achieved by, 9 liters/minute Atomizing flowrate one liter oil, Temperature 30 ᵒC, Time minutes’ minimum till 60 maximum. produced Diesel Flash Point 55 absorption 24 gm per 850 which represent 2.8 % 5% flowrate.
